National Days November with Our Bridges Resource Library
We love celebrating “National Days,” so we have chosen a few Bridges Resource Library entries that help us celebrate the following National Days in November:
- November 7: National Parents As Teachers Day (November 8)
- November 14: Loosen Up Lighten Up Day
- November 21: National Entrepreneur’s Day
- November 28: Giving Tuesday
We invite you to “check out” the Bridges Resource Library’s offerings that share information about entrepreneurship, including interviews with blind entrepreneurs, reflections about the benefits of volunteerism and how it can enhance entrepreneurial opportunities. We also have great resources to help explore possibilities and to build necessary “soft skills” all entrepreneurs need.

About the Bridges Resource Library
On August 29, in honor of National Library Week, the Bridges Resource Library opened its (virtual) doors. The Bridges Resource Library provides a much-needed one-stop-shop for blind/low vision students, their families, their educators, their service providers, and their community allies in Maryland.
Your one-stop resource
Using this tool, stakeholders have instant access to accurate and up-to-date information to answer questions and explore options. The well-researched and accessible components of the Bridges Technical Assistance Center’s Resource Library address areas of concern to secondary transition for blind/low vision students, and it includes Maryland-focused resources, information about accessible assistive technology tools, informational and procedural guides, and much more!
Accurate and current information at your fingertips
We have committed to keeping this information updated. Each entry contains information about the date on which the information was current.
As part of the Bridges Technical Assistance Center’s work, we will confirm that the links and information in each entry are up-to-date at least once every six months. If you find any broken links or any other concerns about an entry, please reach out to us, and we will fix the issue!
