Public Health Workforce at Maryland area Centers for Independent Living presents the I AM Series starting in January 2024. This collaborative effort has been funded by the Maryland Public Health Funds.
During the first event of the series called I AM Prepared, speakers will share important information for our Maryland residents with disabilities on best practices for emergency preparedness. This event will feature guest speakers Dennis Dudley, Director of the Frederick County Department of Emergency Preparedness; Sareem Streeter, Community Outreach Coordinator for Montgomery County Office of Emergency Management and Homeland Security, and Rasheed Plummer, Senior Community Outreach Coordinator for Office of Emergency Management for Prince George’s County Office of Homeland Security.
