Volunteer engineers & medical professionals review new requests submitted by family members, caregivers, teachers and medical professionals.  Zoom meetings are arranged with clients to gather information about the requests. Great way to meet clients and work as a team. Recent graduates are encouraged to participate.

    Meet Our Presenters

    Denise Lichaa, Registered Dietitian Nutritionist

I have been a Registered Dietitian for over 20 years and have spent the majority of my time working at the University of Maryland Rehabilitation and Orthopedic Institute, some of you may know it as Kernan. I love to eat and enjoy sharing my passion for food with others. Food is love and spreading the love of the best nutrition to fuel our bodies is important to help us feel great as we continue to age.

Wendy Messersmith, Certified Independent Optavia Health Coach and CEO of URHealthy Vision, LLC

My educational and professional background is in small business and retail. But when my family and I lost a combined 282 pounds, with me losing 95 pounds of that weight, my life and my career changed focus. I now work to help people develop healthy physical and mental habits, using the lessons I have learned along my own health journey to mentor others toward their goals. Learn more about Wendy's story and follow her journey on her Facebook page.
