NVDA is open-source software, and it is available at no cost. This means, however, that there is not a company behind NVDA, though training materials and technical support services may be purchased.
Nevertheless, it can be helpful to be able to use multiple screen readers – both for ease of access in multiple devices and in order to maximize the features of each for different tasks.
