June 12, 2024Volunteer engineers & medical professionals review new requests submitted by family members, caregivers, teachers and medical professionals. Zoom meetings are arranged with clients to gather information about the requests. Great way to meet clients and work as a team. Recent graduates are encouraged to participate.

June 12, 2024The IMAGE Center is pleased to partner with INA Wellness for our June Wellness Series: Create Calm Self-Care Yoga.
Come move and breathe with us! Create Calm is pleased to bring yoga and mindfulness to IMAGE MD. We will stretch and move to relieve stress and build strength. We will practice breathing and meditation to quiet the mind and settle emotions. Beginners are welcome and no prior yoga experience is needed. We will primarily practice in chairs but you are welcome to use a yoga mat. Be sure to dress comfortably and have a water bottle on hand.
INSTRUCTOR: Your therapeutic yoga instructor, Mary Lynn Mellinger, has been teaching yoga since 2011. She believes that every student can be successful in yoga as long as they approach their practice with joy. She has her 200-hour teacher certification in Hatha Yoga and has dedicated her teaching to working with neurodiverse and differently-abled youth and adults. Her passion is helping people connect with their own power to feel strong and healthy.
CART services will be provided.

June 24, 2024VME has enjoyed a long-standing partnership with Northrop-Grumman where many employees volunteer their talents to design and fabricate devices for VME clients.
