I AM Not Alone. Recording Date: May 20, 2024

Since January 2024, Maryland Centers for Independent Living Public Health Workers have been hosting monthly events. On May 20, the IMAGE Center hosted an event titled “I AM Not Alone: Liberation Learning to Life Through Living,” featuring speaker Mirranda Williams. This was Mirranda’s second time presenting with us, and just like her first session, this presentation was highly interactive and impactful. She truly gets to the heart of the matter.

In the vast expanse of existence, there are moments when we might feel like solitary travelers on a lonely path, isolated from the bustling world around us. Yet amidst the ebb and flow of life, there’s a profound truth that often eludes us: we are never truly alone. If ever you find yourself engulfed by the shadows of loneliness, remember this—you are not alone. Reach out, extend a hand, and open your heart to the connections that surround you. By embracing the beauty of human connection, we find solace, strength, and the profound realization that we are never truly alone in this journey called life.
