As an evaluation center for the Maryland Accessible Telecommunications (MAT) program, we provide FREE assessments for qualified MAT program applicants to find the best solutions for their communication needs. Once approved, you will be paired with one of our evaluators to discuss your needs and goals, introduce you to our assistive equipment, provided by the State, and show you how to use each product until you find the right one for you! How does the process work?

Are you struggling to use a standard phone? Consider applying for the Maryland Accessible Telecommunication (MAT) program today! Once your application is accepted, you will be directed to our location, or another MAT evaluation center in your area, for a mandatory FREE evaluation. During your evaluation, one of our skilled evaluators will work with you to find the best equipment to meet your needs. Once selected, your evaluator will ship your equipment directly to your home within 4-6 weeks. Check out our website to learn more and complete an application.

During your scheduled evaluation for the Maryland Accessible Telecommunications (MAT) program, one of our qualified evaluators will walk you through using all our assistive equipment options until you find your perfect fit. Available equipment includes:

  • text telephones (TTYs),
  • Hearing Carry-Over (HCO) phones,
  • tablets,
  • captioned telephones,
  • amplified phones,
  • and so much more!
