Volunteers for Medical Engineering

Learn more about the IMAGE Center’s – VME Program Services:

About Us

The “secret sauce” to our Program is our team of dedicated volunteers: bio-med, mechanical, and electrical engineers, medical professionals, welders, 3D-printing specialists, master craftsmen & women, as well as student engineers. We encourage a fun team and “think tank” environment to design and manufacture the best solutions for our clients.

Custom devices are fabricated from the “ground up” or modified by using an existing device as the foundation. Each solution is tailored to the client’s medical needs while enhancing the lives of their families.

Who are our clients?

Our clients are individuals who live in Maryland and Washington DC – All ages, all disabilities – our team is here to enhance lives through design and innovation!
